Death and resurrection of the cross

Death and resurrection of the cross   At the time of the early church, there was much controversy about the resurrection. Controversy over those who believe in the resurrection and those who do not. And there was a controversy over whether resurrection was  “ physical survival or spiritual survival. ”  So in the end, it comes down to a debate about whether to be alive physically or spiritually. John 3:13  『 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 』  If the incorrect translation is translated again through the Greek Bible,  『 in heaven Unless the Son of God comes out of heaven, no one can enter heaven. ”  Except the Son of Man, no one has ascended to heaven without seeing death. The Son of Man is the first man, Adam, and the first to come out of heaven. In Ephesians 1:15,  “ Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, ” In th...

Is it necessary to pay tithe?

Is it necessary to pay tithe?   Mark 12:41 『 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury 』 In the Old Testament, God told the people to pay tithes. The command to pay tithes is based on the law. Leviticus 27:30 says,  “ And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD. ”  Church people today find the basis for tithing based on this regulation, and they also look for the origins of Abraham's offering to Melchizedek after the war or Jacob's vow before the law.   Jesus explains tithing again in Matthew 23:23.  『 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 』 If you look at the Greek in bold,  τα ῦ τα  [ δ ὲ ]  ἔ δει   ποι...

Corruption of the temple

Corruption of the temple   Mark 13:14  『 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:  』 On the surface, the temple begins with the Garden of Eden and continues with the sanctuary of Israel, Solomon's Temple, Zerubbabel's Temple, and Herod's Temple. In the Garden of Eden, the mountain to the east is the temple. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were expelled from the  “ temple called the Garden of Eden ”  by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In the sanctuary, the Israelites also used the Ark of the Covenant as a tool of war. In Solomon's Temple, Solomon was a wise man, but he took a foreign woman and served idols, so God used the foreigners to destroy the temple. The Jews returned to their homeland from Babylonian captivity. God encouraged the Jews to build a temple through...

Beware of the scribes

Beware of the scribes   Mark 12:38-40 『 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms. at feasts: Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. 』 The scribes liked to sit at the head of the synagogue. In the synagogue, in front of the Holy Ark where the Bible scrolls were preserved, there was a special bench facing the congregation. The person who sat there could see everyone at a glance, and the person who sat there could be watched by the congregation. The scribes liked the highest seats at banquets. Seating at the banquet was strictly limited. The highest seat was on the owner's right, and the second highest seat was on the owner's left. Then, alternating between right and left, and going around the table, the seats at the head of the table were determined in...

Parable of the new and the old

Parable of the new and the old   In Matthew 13:52, Jesus said,  “ Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. ”  He told five parables about heaven. The first is the parable of the treasure hidden in the field, the second is the parable of the pearl of great price, the third is the parable of the net thrown into the sea, the fourth is the parable of the good householder, and the fifth is the parable of the new and the old. The new refers to the words of the new covenant, and the old refers to the law of the old covenant. Only those who can accurately unravel and interpret the Law and the New Covenant can become disciples of heaven. When Jesus asked,  “ Do you understand all this? ”  the disciples answered,  “ Yes. ”  Jesus then compared you, his disciples, to  “ scribes who have become disciples ...

Parable of the Unjust Steward

Parable of the Unjust Steward   Luke 16:1-9  『 And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of your stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? And he said, One hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, One hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. And the lor...

Rich man and camel

Rich man and camel   Mark 10:21-25 『 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and Come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and he went away grieved: for he had great possessions. And Jesus looked round about, and said to his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 』 This story is the content of a conversation between Jesus and the rich man when the rich man approached Jesus and asked about eternal life. Jesus first spoke about the commandments, and the rich man said that he had kept...

Parable of the rich man and Lazarus

Parable of the rich man and Lazarus   Luke 16:19-31  『 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and spread sumptuously every day:And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and he was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom his. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, bet...

Parable of treasure

Parable of treasure   Matthew 13:44  『 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hidden in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 』 Regarding this statement, people may misunderstand that they can buy heaven by selling everything they have. When the disciples asked Jesus,  “ Why do you speak in parables? ”  Jesus answered, He said,  “ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. ” This is to hide it from some people and reveal it to others. Regarding the subject of hidden secrets, Matthew 13:14-15 says,  “ And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see...

Peter's Confession

Peter's Confession   In Mark 8:27-29, when Jesus asked his disciples,  “ Who do people think I am? ”  they answered,  “ Some say he is Elijah, and others say he is one of the prophets. ”  When Jesus asked his disciples,  “ Who do you think I am? ”  Peter confessed to Jesus,  “ You are the Son of God. ”  However, Jesus is saying that after suffering and being killed, he will be raised again on the third day. Peter suddenly rebelled against what Jesus said. In other words, you should not die. Peter grabbed Jesus and protested. A more detailed defense appears in Matthew 16:22-23.  『 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. 』 Because Peter does something like denying the work of God for a moment, the moment S...
