Corruption of the temple

Corruption of the temple

Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

On the surface, the temple begins with the Garden of Eden and continues with the sanctuary of Israel, Solomon's Temple, Zerubbabel's Temple, and Herod's Temple. In the Garden of Eden, the mountain to the east is the temple. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were expelled from the temple called the Garden of Eden by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In the sanctuary, the Israelites also used the Ark of the Covenant as a tool of war. In Solomon's Temple, Solomon was a wise man, but he took a foreign woman and served idols, so God used the foreigners to destroy the temple.

The Jews returned to their homeland from Babylonian captivity. God encouraged the Jews to build a temple through prophets Haggai and Zechariah. The temple serves to inform both internally and externally that Jehovah God continues to rule over the returned Jews. Zerubbabel's temple was rebuilt in 517 B.C. The temple religion was restored. However, they did not learn anything about the temple from the past. The prophet Malachi warned: In Malachi 1:10, Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. The temple of Zerubbabel was also devastated.

About 150 years later, in 20 B.C., Herod the Great, a Gentile who converted to Judaism, rebuilt and expanded the collapsed temple. In 66 AD, the temple was completed. But just four years later, the temple was completely destroyed by the Romans. The cause was the stubbornness of the Jews who rejected Jesus Christ, the Messiah. God's judgment of the destruction of Herod's Temple gave the believers a new paradigm that was completely different from before.

The destruction of the temple in the Old Testament era provides new lessons for the church and believers in the New Testament era. The Bible emphasizes that the kingdom of God preached by Jesus Christ is a place governed by the Word. And through the gospel, a new temple is built in the hearts of believers, and the kingdom of God comes. Words and obedience became more important than religious rituals. At the core of the Word and obedience is the death of the cross and the present resurrection.

With Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection, a new spiritual temple was built in the hearts of believers. In John 4:21-24, Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The spiritual temple also begins with the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden spiritually symbolizes the kingdom of God. The story of the fall in the Garden of Eden is about the fall of angels in the kingdom of God. As mentioned in Jude 1:6 and 2 Peter 2:4, because the angels did not keep their position, God took off the angels' clothes, confined their naked spirits in the dust, and turned them into humans. God It is to make a human shape out of clay and put the spirit of a sinful angel into it. However, in order to create the first man, someone who served as an atonement for sin was needed.

This means that the person who takes on that role is Christ. Christ is the image of God. The first man, Adam, was Christ, the image of God. In Colossians 1:15, Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:.

In Genesis 1:26, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over. all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

From after our likeness, likeness (kidmetenu כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ ) is a combination of chi and dmetenu. We are the Trinity of God. Key (כִּ) is translated into English as likeness. It means similar to, resembling. However, resembling means having the same attributes. This does not mean that the external form of the body is similar, but that the essence is the same. This means that the original and the copy are the same. The words same have the same effect. Man is not God, but Christ of the Trinity is the first man, Adam. The goal is to make it so that the Trinity is like God and man becoming one through Christ.

What is the image of God? There are many people who misunderstand the image of God as if it were His character. So, people think that because they have the nature of God, they have good things in them. However, they say that people have sinned a lot while living in the world and have lost God's character and need to recover it again.

The image of God is Christ. The first man, Adam, is Christ, the image of God. The first man is a symbol of the last Adam. The first man, Adam, was born as a human to give us a body of sin, and the last Adam came to this world to give us a body born from heaven after the body of sin dies and is resurrected.

The first man, Adam, had the image of God, but after the division into man and woman, the image of God disappeared. In the phrase the first man Adam, Adam is not a name, but means a man (Adam) who came from the ground (adama). By the way, the name male is also Adam. God put the first man, Adam, to sleep (dead), took out his rib, and created a woman (Eve). So, the remnant after the ribs were taken out became man (Adam). The first man, Adam, disappeared, and man (Adam) and woman (female: Eve) were created. The first man, Adam (man) fell asleep, means that the image of God disappeared, and Christ ascended back to heaven. And the created man (Adam) and woman (Eve) already have the appearance of sinners.

The image of Adam and Eve eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden is the image of angels who sinned in the kingdom of God. Sinful spirits are born into the world wearing bodies given to them by the first man, Adam. These are the beings who are born as humans to this day. These men and women are separate beings. This means that these people were separated from each other by the first man, Adam (Christ). Those who are separated from God are souls thrown into the prison of the world. The human being created in this way is said to have become a soul (living creature) by combining spirit and dust in Genesis 2:7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In the first man, Adam (man), there was the image of God (Christ: temple), but when man (Adam) and woman (Eve) were born, the image of God disappeared. In Genesis 1:27, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."Creating man" and "creating man and woman" are not the same story, but different stories. This means that first God created man in the image of God, and then God created man and woman. That is why men and women do not have the image of God.

Men and women are those who are separated from people bearing the image of God, that is, those who have left God. The Fall in the Garden of Eden (Temple) is a picture of people being driven out of the garden into the world by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because they wanted to be like God. This means that the spirits of fallen angels combined with dust to become humans. This can be seen in Genesis 6:2, That the sons (angel who sinned) of God saw the daughters of men (dust) that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The spirit of sin becomes one with the dust. Angels must become one with God, but they become one with the world (dirt). This is the corruption of the temple. The corruption of the temple is that there is no God, but only self. So, the idol of self makes people build towers in the world and become famous warriors.

The temple (image of God) built in the human heart has become the old temple (old man) because God does not exist. So, Jesus used the parable of a vineyard to say that the old temple should be destroyed and a new temple built. A man built a vineyard and rented it out. When the time came, he sent a servant to collect the rent. They beat the servant and killed him, and even killed the vineyard owner's son. So, the story goes that the owner destroys the person who leased the vineyard and leases the vineyard to a new person. The new man means the resurrection of Christ. Saints are also those who believe in the present resurrection in Christ. A new temple, the image of God, is built in the hearts of those who believe in present-day resurrection. Therefore, Christ returns to the hearts of believers and pours out the kingdom of God.

Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

In Jesus' time, the abomination of desolation would have been the Roman army occupying the temple in Jerusalem. However, spiritually, it is the physical self that resides in the temple (old temple) of man. The physical self refers to the physical body (Sareux: fresh), and is the same as the seven tribes in Canaan. This Saruks acts as the master of humans. There is a desire to become like God.

When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goesst to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them.

The seven tribes of Canaan have spiritual significance that Israel must overcome. Likewise, it becomes a spiritual battle that saints must also overcome. The seven tribes of Canaan can symbolically express what is located within the physical interior of humans. Things that are firmly established in the hearts of believers include the nature of the body, blood relations, experience and knowledge, thoughts and ideologies, religious spirit, self-righteousness, and the desire to dominate.

then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains

This means that if a believer sees his physical self moving in his heart, he should quickly enter the new temple. The new temple is the temple of God (naos deu ναὸς θεο). The Bible describes what afflicts believers as tribulation (θλίψει). So, the saints are to be patient (hypomone πομον), enter the temple, and overcome tribulation through prayer (proshukon προσευχν). Then, it means that God, who is present (Parusian παρουσίᾳ) in the temple, overcomes the fleshly egos of the believers, just as he destroyed the walls of Jericho.
