Mark 14:10-11『And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.』

Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver from a priest. He became a disciple of Jesus, but he betrayed and betrayed Jesus. Why did Judas Iscariot, a disciple of Jesus, betray Jesus?

Judas Iscariot was chosen as one of the twelve disciples, but unlike the other disciples, he did not use the title "Lord" toward Jesus. Instead, he called Jesus "Rabbi" and did not acknowledge him as anything more than a teacher. Therefore, it can be seen that he did not have faith in Jesus.

In John 12:5-6, Judas became so consumed by greed that he betrayed the trust of not only Jesus but also his fellow disciples. Judas may have wanted to follow Jesus simply because he knew that Jesus had many followers and he believed he could profit from the money raised for the group. “The fact that Judas was in charge of the money bag for the group” indicates that his interest was in money.

Judas also believed, like most people at the time, that "the Messiah would overthrow Roman colonial rule and assume a position of power to rule over the nation of Israel." Judas may have followed Jesus in the hope of benefiting from association with him who would emerge as the new dominant political power. He expected that after Jesus' revolution, he would become one of the ruling elite. Around the time of Judas' betrayal, Jesus made it clear that he planned not to start a rebellion against Rome, but rather to die. So, Judas may have been convinced, as the Pharisees were, that unless he overthrew Rome, he would never be the Messiah he had hoped for. Ultimately, the mind of Judas Iscariot is the same as the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod. If we do not abide in the words of Jesus, we can all become like Judas Iscariot.

There was again a transaction of 30 pieces of silver between the high priest, the elders, and Judas Iscariot. The high priest and the elders gave Judas Iscariot 30 pieces of silver again and said, “What do you have to do with us? Deal with it yourself; we are not responsible.” So Judas took the money again, threw it into the sanctuary, and went away and hanged himself. You can see that he is going to die. Therefore, even today, the Bible teaches us that “those who betray Jesus for the wages of unrighteousness will ultimately end up in death.” Anyone who betrays Jesus is in Satan. The same goes for all hired shepherds who do not abide by the words of Jesus. Jesus gave them freedom from the law, but they are trying to imprison them again with the law.

The term “wages of injustice” refers to a hired shepherd who unjustly receives money from believers.

God is showing the sins they will suffer through the example of Judas Iscariot. They say that offering tithes or offerings to God is an example of serving Him. After Jesus came, the gift we offer to God does not refer to something without a living being, but to the offering of a resurrected spirit as a regenerate person.

People who still think in a legalistic way think that they must offer something material to God. They say that believers in Jesus are not forced to tithe or make offerings by the church, but believers do it voluntarily. The hired hands shift the blame to the believers. Although a budget is necessary for the church's operation, they say so while providing biblical evidence.

If we look at the Bible and only see Judas Iscariot's wrong actions, we are studying history about what happened between God and the Israelites. “What we must realize through Judas Iscariot” is that the high priests and elders sold innocent blood and received money as the wages of injustice, “Just as all the sins are being blamed on Judas Iscariot, even today, believers are being put in danger within the church.” "am.

Believers should understand that this is what the Bible says to Judas Iscariot, as well as to shepherds and saints who believe in God today. Even though we say that we have entered into Jesus Christ and been born again and escaped from the law, who is responsible for ultimately returning to the law? Believers must know that, like Judas Iscariot, the hired hands shift the blame to the believers.

Judah did not try to use the 30 pieces of silver he received for anything else. He realizes his mistake and throws the money back into the sanctuary and comes out. Since Judas Iscariot had always received donations from the high priests and elders, he took the 30 pieces of silver and threw them back into the sanctuary. “What we must understand from these words” is that God does not want worldly materials. God desires rebirth, in which the dead spirit comes back to life. Judas Iscariot chose his own death. The root cause of all this is money. Money makes people arrogant and leads to arrogance and disobedience. Therefore, God's word of truth is not accepted by such people. Therefore, even today, some churches call the church building a temple and force people to make donations in a legal way.

『The high priests collected the silver and said, “This is the blood price.” The high priests picked up “30 pieces of silver that Judas Iscariot had thrown away as worthless” and said, 『This is the blood price』. It has nothing to do with them. They are referring to the money that Judas Iscariot paid for Jesus by shedding his blood on the cross and calling it blood money. In other words, they see 30 pieces of silver as equal to Jesus. 30 means a woman. Today's church is devoid of the word of truth. It refers to churches that say they believe in Jesus but are still mired in the law. Those who do not realize this fact are spiritually blind.

In John 9:41, Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remains.』In Isaiah 1:12: When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? This is what God says about those who think that “believing and having faith in God is.”

After Judas Iscariot returned the 30 pieces of silver to the sanctuary and left, the priests and elders gathered to discuss the money. But for some reason, the high priests and elders said, “It is not right to keep the 30 pieces of silver in the treasury (the treasury in the sanctuary).” They thought that Jesus was a heretic to the priests. Since they thought that “the sanctuary is a holy place where sacrifices are made to God and rituals are performed,” they thought, “It is not right to place the money of Jesus, who belongs to a heretic, in the holy place of God.” These people were spiritually blind and did not know Jesus until the end.

So, what is the reason why they say they use this money to buy a potter's field and use it as a graveyard for travelers? In Isaiah 64:8, “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.』The potter is God. He is saying that God formed man with his hands. So then, for what reason did the high priests and elders buy God's field with 30 pieces of silver? The high priests and elders are false shepherds and hired shepherds. God's field is God's people. This means that the high priests and elders purchased God’s people. From a physical perspective, they bought a field made of dirt, but from a spiritual perspective, they bought God's people with this money.

The hired hands spiritually drive believers to death. They begin with the Holy Spirit and finish with the flesh. It is said that the high priests and elders bought God's field with 30 pieces of silver and used it as a graveyard for strangers. They are like wolves trying to kill those who have been spiritually reborn. Even today, hired shepherds are deceiving believers into returning to the law.
